WiFi systems based on the Ubiquiti Bullet typically require users to go to the Bullets embedded website to log in, scan for hot spots, make a selection, enter any required security credentials, request that a change be made, and then verify that a connection to the chosen hotspot has occurred. Doing this using a regular computer or large tablet is involved at best; doing it with a device such as a smartphone is even more difficult.

Optimized for the system developed by Coastal Marine WiFi, this app automates the process of logging on and scanning for available hotspots, and allows hotspots to be selected with minimal user input Only those hotspots with a name are shown, and the list of hotspots can be sorted by signal strength, security requirements, or name. If a secure hotspot is selected, you will be prompted to enter the required security credentials. The app then attempts to connect to the selected hotspot; if that fails you can re-enter security information (if any was required) or rescan for hot spots. Once a connection is made, the app displays connection information as well as automatically performing keep-alives so that the hotspot will not drop the connection because of inactivity.

Selection of country is verified using Google maps via GPS/location services. Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Please Note: Because this app has been developed specifically for systems offered by Coastal Marine WiFi, it will not work with Ubiquiti WiFi radios used in other systems.

This app requires iOS version 6 or higher.
